Welcome to the BasicGrey Knee Highs and Bow TiesBlog Hop! You should have arrived here from the blog of the talented Kelly Racoosin.
Awe, those playground days—a time full of wonderment and imagination. BasicGrey has captured that energy and excitement in these two coordinating lines. The rough and tumble look of Bow Ties will liven up your crafty toy box, with its vibrant shades of leap-frog green, red-rover red, freeze-tag teal, and more. And the playful motifs in this line, which include tools, cars, creepy-crawlies and rocket ships, will rev your creative engine and as your project ideas soar to new heights.
Looking for a bit more sugar and spice? Knee Highs will put a smile on your face with its rainbow brights and fanciful florals.
>>>It's about the little things<<<

I made this layout with the "Bow Ties" collection. I chose to do a layout with a lot of green to refer to my picture. A layout which reminds the nature. The papers of the Bow Ties line are so very perfect for this.
I added some mixed media actions here and there to add some contrast on my LO and use some packaging from one Bow Ties embellishment.
I 'm so in love with these two lines that I decided to do another layout, this time with a mix of both:
Knee Highs and Bow Ties :
>>>Best Day Ever<<<
Knee Highs and Bow Ties :
>>>Best Day Ever<<<

For this layout, I chose to work with warm colors.
I love the endless possibilities to mix so different colors in this line. You can make feminine layouts as well as masculine layouts.
I've found this picture of my son Quentin go beautifully with this line that's why I chose to use it there.
A lot of layering, some embellishments and stamping here and there
The mix of orange/brown is so fresh and fun;)
